Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) is proud to announce the election of two new board members and four officers to the 2019 Board of Directors.
The newly elected and re-elected 2019 CBCA Board officers are:
•Mark Davidson, Partner, Fairfield & Woods, re-elected as Board Chair for a one-year term
•Chris Ross, Vice President, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, US Bank, elected to Vice Chair for a one-year term
•Doug Scheetz, Southwest Region Tax Leader/Consumer and Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility, EY, re-elected as Treasurer for a two-year term
•Kathy Kranz, Chief Financial Officer, Pinnacol Assurance, elected to Secretary for a two-year term
Serving two-year terms, the newly elected CBCA board members are:
Chuong Le, Partner, Snell & Wilmer
As a partner at Snell & Wilmer, Chuong represents clients in the areas of wealth strategies, corporate law and cross-border transactions. He has represented individuals and multi-generational families in legacy planning, public and private foundations, charitable giving and tax planning. Chuong has also represented domestic and international companies during startup and formation, corporate restructures, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, import and export, and provided counsel to companies entering emerging markets, restructures, succession planning and growth strategies. Chuong emphasizes providing his clients with personal attention and an innovative and comprehensive approach to helping them meet their business and legal needs. He is dedicated to understanding the challenges that clients face on a regular basis and working closely with them to assist in achieving their goals.
Hassan Najjar, Executive Director, Foothills Art Center
At Foothills Art Center, Hassan strives to create an environment where the arts are appreciated, valued, and utilized to help individuals think critically and creatively about the world around them. As a museum professional with 14 years of experience, he’s leveraged mission-focused thinking and community input to create memorable museum experiences for learners of all ages. He thoroughly enjoys working in a field that is chocked full of creative and passionate people who solve problems in unique ways through the arts. Hassan is a member of Golden Rotary and serves on the editorial board of Curator: The Museum Journal.
